Puff Pastry Pouches with Tuna

Ingredients for 4 servings:

1 X 250g jar of CALLIPO TUNA FILLETS in olive oil
120-150g frozen puff pastry
250g peeled cherry tomatoes
200g mozzarella
1 onion
4-5 black olives
1 egg
A few basil leaves
Olive oil (to taste)
Salt and pepper (to taste)



Wash and slice the onion, then cook in a small pan with a small amount of oil. When it is lightly fried, add the tomatoes and the CALLIPO TUNA FILLETS (chopped up into small pieces). Heat the sauce for 7-8 minutes until thickened, season with salt and pepper. Then turn off the heat and leave to cool. In the meantime, chop up the olives and the basil and roll out the puff pastry (pre-thawed at room temperature). Roll it out to a thickness of 4mm and cut out 8-12 circles with a diameter of 6-7cm. On each disk, arrange a spoonful of the tomato and CALLIPO TUNA sauce, a sliver of mozzarella and some chopped-up basil and olives. Fold the little disks in half, push down firmly on the edges and carefully place them on the oven dish, covered with greased aluminium foil. Beat the egg and brush the surface of the green beans. Then bake them in the oven (preheated to 180°) for 20-25 minutes.
